Free, before school care is available for Burckhalter students beginning at 7:30 am.

Girls, Inc. After School Program

More than 100 Burckhalter Elementary School students are enrolled with our no-cost after school program provider, Girls, Inc. The after school program provides a safe, supportive space for TK-5th grade students. The youth development-based program design will address students’ academic and enrichment needs, with a variety of rotating sports and art activities. The program runs Monday to Friday from school dismissal to 6pm. Please contact the main office for more information.

To participate in the Girls Inc. Expanded Learning (Afterschool) Program, all three of the following requirements must be completed before your child may begin attending.

1. Complete the OUSD Expanded Learning Enrollment (EnrollWise)

All families must complete the OUSD EnrollWise application to secure a spot in the Expanded Learning Program.

Please Note: Students cannot attend the after-school program until this application has been completed.

The Oakland Unified School District requires all parents/guardians to have an active email address and a password to complete the application.
