Burckhalter Elementary is a peaceful and supportive school where children learn, lead, and feel safe. We teach academic skills and help students grow socially and emotionally through daily routines and caring relationships. Our teachers partner with families to meet the needs of each student. As part of OUSD, we offer enrichment programs, small-group support, and a welcoming school community where every child can shine.

Celebrating Our Schools & Embracing the Peace of the Holiday Season

As we head into the winter holiday break, I invite us all to slow down, recharge, and embrace the peace this season can bring. I know this isn’t an easy time for our district as we continue to make difficult decisions about our budget, and many of us are still processing recent tragedy in our city.
